Complete system inclusive of motor, propeller, controller, throttle, display and connection cables. *Excluding batteries and charger. The PodMaster is constructed from salt water resistant aluminium, with epoxy coating for extra protection. The shape has been optimized to ensure minimal friction so water flows to the propeller as efficiently as possible. Within the PodMaster is an ultra-modern AC 3-phase synchronous motor or a very energy-efficient permanent DC motor (depending on model). The motor, bearings and seals are designed for professional use and are guaranteed to give years of sailing pleasure with a minimum of maintenance. Each type of PodMaster is equipped with a propeller that is carefully matched to the motor, so that the greatest efficiency can be achieved. The PodMaster is also available as outboard/sterndrive version which mounts to the transom with adjustable screws and comes with adjustable trim and tilt functionality. The PodMaster Professional is constructed from saltwater resistant stainless steel (316) and includes a bronze through-hull fitting. The shape has been optimized to ensure minimal friction and so water flows to the propeller as efficiently as possible. Within the SilentPod is an ultra-modern oil cooled sensorless permanent magnet 3-phase synchronous electric motor. The motor, bearings and seals are designed for professional use and are guaranteed to give years of sailing pleasure with a minimum of maintenance. The PodMaster Professional can drive a very large 3 or 4 bladed propeller and only revs at 1000 RPM which results in very high torque and high efficiency. The shunt + digital GD1 display enables a read-out on all important motor and battery information:
